The Cronosonic is a tool for ultrasonic tests through transparency, it can be used in tests of bulkheads, beams, diaphragms, samples, laboratory samples, and other types of structures in concrete or stone materials.
Cronosonic is an instrument for ultrasonic pulse velocity surveys allowing you to carry out measures through direct, indirect and semi direct method. The very compact instrument is provided with display for the visualization of the time of fly (T.O.F.) and the velocity of the material investigated. Measurements can be transferred to a PC through a USB connection. For the visualization of the wave form it is possible to interface the instrument with external oscilloscope.

The ultrasonic test in contact, is a standardized system in the field of diagnostics of concrete structures. From the analysis of the compression waves P in the material to obtain the transit time (time of flight TOF), of the ultrasonic waves in the material and the speed of transmission of the same inside the material investigated. The use of this method, at high frequencies, it is particularly suitable for compact materials, such as hardened concrete and structural elements of small size, such as beams, pillars, etc.
This set of tools allows to assess the mechanical characteristics of the materials, to evaluate the degree of homogeneity and the presence of any cracks, voids, defects or anomalies constructive element.

The concrete test hammer is an instrument which is easy to use, for quick and approximate measurement of the resistance to pressure of manufactured concrete products. The principles on which it works are based on the rebound impact of a hammer on a piston which rests against the surface of the concrete products. The Greater the resistance of the concrete, greater is the rebounded impact. By reading this rebound impact on a scale and relating it to curves on graphs supplied with the instrument, the resistance to compression in MPa or PSI can be found, with +/- 2O% Of actual.
